Dr. Jeff Price contributed to the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2007 to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).  He was one of the lead authors of the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report (ecosystems), the IPCC Third Assessment Report (ecosystems), and the IPCC Technical Paper on Climate Change and Biodiversity. He also contributed text to one of the reports underpinning the U.K. Government's Stern Review of the Economics of Climate Change and U.S. National Assessment on Climate Change Impacts on the United States.

He was co-author of the Nature article "Fingerprints of global warming on wild animals and plants", of the publication The Birdwatcher's Guide to Global Warming as well as a number of scientific papers on the potential impacts of global warming on birds. His work has been the subject of a Steve Benson editorial cartoon and is featured in the murder mystery Death of a Songbird by Christine Goff.

Jeff says, "As long as I can remember I have been interested in the natural world.  I grew up watching The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau and National Geographic specials and I think that these shows really helped to inspire me to do the work I do today.  Documentary films may be more important that ever in helping people understand complex issues and to learn about nature - and, hopefully, to then want to work to save it".

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
